Giovanni is a dedicated, all-round marketer with over 8 years’ international experience in various management roles across different industries. He is currently leading marketing operations in Asia Pacific for the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) – the global peak body for procurement and supply professionals – and is responsible for developing, implementing and executing marketing plans in the region; this includes managing complex stakeholder networks, creating effective and on-brand communication strategies and delivering successful events.
Before joining CIPS, Giovanni has worked as Account Manager at Daronet, a cutting-edge web solution company, and he was in charge of client management as well as overseeing project operations to ensure high quality and on-time delivery.
Prior to this, Giovanni has held a number of sales management positions at marketing and advertising agencies – ASAP Direct & Aida in Australia; Sistema Innovazione in Italy – respectively leading sales teams to deliver on KPIs, running performance and motivational training and managing production of specialist online content.
Giovanni holds a Master Degree in Marketing & Communication Management and a Bachelor Degree in Business Management from Bocconi University in Italy. He is passionate about change management and team building dynamics and has a strong interest in the field of consumer behaviour and psychology of buying.
