Kathleen Donohoe, Director, Futures Learning, NSW Department of Education

As the Director, Futures Learning, Kathleen have developed and implemented the Futures Learning Strategy encompassing support for innovative practice and professional learning opportunities for teaching staff in over 2,000 schools across NSW. This includes providing support to schools in the implementation, sharing and scaling of innovative practice, and the planning, designing and effective use of learning space and technology. Professional learning offerings (aligned with current curriculum) to support students for an ever changing future, have been developed and are being delivered. Kathleen is leading Futures Learning' research engagement with Universities, national and International partners, and partnerships with industry partners to support optimal education experiences for students. She is an experienced Director of Learning with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry, including the design, planning, effective use and evaluation of physical and virtual learning environments.
